I am about 5'8, weigh I feel like the mythological Phoenix. I lived a wonderful life, crashed and burst into fiery death, and yet now I am rising again!! My whole life is changing! It is an adventure and I am LOVING it! Every day I learn something new and exciting! That doesn’t mean I don’t have bad days, but there is something different in the way I approach it! A more positive attitude. I talk about everything from sex to God in my journal, be warned. Sometimes that can be TMI for some people! But I think everything from sex to God is important and makes life worth living. And speaking of "God," know here and now I do not mean the Judea-Christian definition of "God," although that was certainly my beginning on my Spiritual Path. I do not see God as some old man sitting on a throne somewhere up there passing down judgment like some immature or psychopath. I see God as something that doesn't or canNOT fit in a box. I respect every path and believe "God" is very personal and can be anything from a Divine Mother to a Goddess/God to Jesus Christ to The Queer One to a Pantheon to a SINGLE Entity. Whatever works for you, "God" is big enough to be whatever WE need God to be personally! I believe we are ALL perfect expressions of God! My life has had its scary moments. I was "fortunate" in that I am a gay man that was in a relationship for over ten years! But nothing is permanant, he changed in ways that I couldn't live with. But I am believing again. I am not going to let what has gone on before hold me back any more. I realized something (finally). Yesterday is an illusion! As the lovely song from Rent says, "There is no future, there is no past. There's only us, there's only this. Forget regret or life is yours to miss. No other road no other way, there's only now, there's only here. Give in to love or live in fear. No other path, no other way...NO DAY BUT TODAY!! And, hey! I was single for less than six months and The Universe saw fit to put a new man in my life! I am a good friend to have. I have a good sense of humor, I’m sincere, honest, shy one moment and fun and crazy the next. The kind of person who can always surprise you.
